1. The pump must not be allowed to run dry. 2. The pump must not be operated with the process fluid drained. 3. The pump must not be operated for extended periods under conditions of insufficient or excessive flow. 4. The pump must not be operated beyond its rated temperature differential. 5. The pump must not be subjected to thermal shock. 6. Starting the pump with the discharge piping completely closed is prohibited. 7. Starting the pump before all air has been purged from the system is prohibited. 8. The pump must not be operated in a cavitation condition. 9. Starting the pump while it is rotating in the reverse direction is prohibited.
1. The pump must not be run dry.
